TDS Calculator Free โTDS Due Dates for FY 2026-27
| Month | TDS Deduction Due Date | TDS Deposit Due Date | Quarterly Return (24Q/26Q) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apr-Jun 2026 | At time of payment | 7th of next month | 31st July 2026 |
| Jul-Sep 2026 | At time of payment | 7th of next month | 31st October 2026 |
| Oct-Dec 2026 | At time of payment | 7th of next month | 31st January 2027 |
| Jan-Mar 2027 | At time of payment | 7th of next month (30th April for March) | 31st May 2027 |
Pro Tip
For TDS deducted in March, the deposit due date is 30th April (not 7th April). This gives you extra time to compile March payments. But for all other months, the 7th deadline is strict โ late payment attracts interest at 1% per month under Section 201(1A).
How to Calculate TDS Correctly
- Identify the section based on nature of payment
- Check the threshold โ if payment is below threshold, no TDS
- Verify PAN โ without PAN, rate doubles (or 20%, whichever is higher)
- Apply surcharge/cess if deductee is non-resident (Section 195)
- Deduct TDS at the time of credit or payment, whichever is earlier
- Deposit by 7th of the following month
- File quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
